CCU Celebrates Commitment to Veterans and Families

Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is emphasizing its commitment to veterans and military families. The university is recognized as a Military Friendly® Gold status school, offering various resources and support aimed at helping military students and their families succeed academically and socially.

CCU has also been recognized by Military Times as a “Best for Vets” college and is designated as a Purple Heart University. Additionally, the university is promoting the 988 Step-up Challenge, which aims to encourage physical activity while raising awareness about suicide prevention for military families.

For those interested in honoring veterans, CCU is hosting “A Salute to American Veterans,” an event scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. Furthermore, the university will hold a “Salute to Service” football game against Georgia Southern on November 23.
