Myrtle Beach Hosts Local Authors' Spill the Tea

Chapin Memorial Library in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is accepting applications for Spill the Tea 2026, a public event for local authors. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local authors, including self-published, who reside in South Carolina and have a published book at the time of application, are encouraged to apply.

Spill the Tea is designed to showcase local authors of both fiction and nonfiction. During the event, authors will have opportunities to present and promote their books, connect with other writers, and engage with readers. The program includes book sales organized by the participating authors, with options for payments and change handled by the authors themselves. In addition, the event will feature several twenty-minute book talks throughout the day.
