Volusia Beach Safety recruits complete 88 training hours

Volusia County Beach Safety said its Summer Recruit Class completed 88 hours of training earlier this month.

The program included 44 hours of Ocean Rescue preparation and 44 hours of Emergency Medical Responder training.

In a Facebook post dated June 18, 2026, the agency congratulated the recruits.
